Getting the TiviMate IPTV App: Devices, Installation and Premium

TiviMate is a widely used IPTV player for Android-based TV devices. Getting it running involves three things: making sure your device is supported, installing it from an official source and — optionally — upgrading to the premium version. Which devices can run TiviMate?

TiviMate is designed for Android-based TV devices:

• Android TV and Google TV devices, including many smart TVs, boxes and dongles
• Amazon Fire TV devices, which run an Android-based system

Installing on Android TV or Google TV

1. Open Google Play on the TV device.
2. Search for TiviMate and check the developer name matches the official developer.
3. Install and open the app.

Installing from Google Play means updates arrive automatically.

Installing on Fire TV

First setup

1. Open TiviMate and choose to add a playlist.
2. Select the connection type your IPTV provider specified.
3. Enter your details exactly as supplied — a phone remote app helps with typing.
4. Name the playlist and let channels and the guide load.
5. Hide unused groups, build favourites and check guide times.

How premium works

TiviMate offers a paid premium version that unlocks additional features. Premium is purchased from the developer — typically through the developer's official companion app or purchase route — and then activated in TiviMate on your TV. Pricing and terms are set by the developer and can change, so check the official information before buying.

Important points:

• Premium does not add channels. It adds player features.
• Try the free version first. Upgrade only if you need a premium feature.

Is premium worth it?

Consider premium if you:

• Want features such as recording or multi-view, where included
• Use TiviMate on several TVs and want the full feature set everywhere
• Enjoy customising the interface extensively

If you mainly use the guide, favourites and live channels, the free version may be all you need.

Setting up TiviMate on several TVs

Households often run TiviMate on more than one Android-based TV. To keep things consistent:

• Install from the same official source on each device.
• Set up one TV fully first — groups, favourites, guide offset — then repeat the same choices on the others, or use the app's backup and restore option if available.
• Check premium terms if you use premium features on several devices, since licensing is set by the developer.
• Stay within your plan's connection limit, because each TV watching at the same time uses one connection.

Troubleshooting installation and setup

Keeping TiviMate updated

Google Play updates TiviMate automatically. On Fire TV, check the developer's official source periodically and update the same way you installed. Keep your settings backed up if the app offers a backup option. Updating before a major sports event rather than during it avoids surprises if an update changes a setting.
